Doug Atherton, Steve Johnson and Larry Prange - three "seasoned" musicians who call themselves Whats Cookin.

Doug's voice is expressive, warm, and engaging. His rhythm guitar, combined with Steve's lyrical solos on either electric or acoustic, create the perfect balance of mellow tones and punchy accents. And Larry's sweet chops on fretless bass provide a rock solid foundation, without the crashing cymbals and pounding drums that can distress the digestion of the dinner patrons.

But make no mistake, Whats Cookin can smoke. When these guys launch into a driving blues or a classic ol' rock tune, their energy could make Segovia buy a Telecaster.

Doug's band Harvest was a staple around Northwest nightclub scene for years, as was Steve's old group Nightingale. And Mike's been sweetening up latin jazz sounds of bands like Abraxas since James Taylor had hair.
